Hardwood Floor Refinishing

Hardwood Floors are a valuable investment for any home or business. Any scratches, water stains, or dents in a floor can detract from the natural beauty that the wood grain provides. If left alone over time, this damage may lead to the floor needing to be refinished. Carolina Hardwood Flooring can revitalize your old wood floors by sanding and screening them to remove any imperfections and ensure a smooth and finished surface. After that, we apply various coats of polyurethane in a sheen that you desire (satin, semi-gloss, or high-gloss). We are very experienced with all stain colors as well.

Pre-Finished and Unfinished Hardwood Flooring

We are very experienced in all types of pre-finished and unfinished installs. Whether its an engineered floor, floating floor, or a solid hardwood floor we are up to date on all of the required steps to take in order to insure a successful installation. Carolina Hardwood Flooring offers both traditional flooring and the popular exotic types of flooring, such as Tigerwood, Brazilian Cherry, and Caribbean Heart Pine.  We, at Carolina Hardwood flooring, are also experts dealing with Antique Heart Pine, with well over 200,000 square feet installed and finished. Carolina Hardwood Flooring is your hardwood flooring expert. From years of experience we can help you decide which type of flooring best suits you and your home, while also providing sound advice at the end of the job on how to maintain your brand new floor in the future. Here at Carolina Hardwood Flooring it is our goal for you to not only be happy with the choices you made for your new floor, but that you are also 100% satisfied with the result.

Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring takes technology to new levels by duplicating the beauty and warmth of natural wood while providing an inexpensive durable alternative to hardwood flooring. Laminate floors "float" over the installation's sub-floor after laying a foam/film under-layment to provide moisture and sound reducing properties.  If the sub floor is left uneven laminates may sound "noisy" or may feel "spongy" when walked on. Therefore, we feel leveling along with maintaining each manufacturers unique requirements is key to a quality laminate installation
